SUPERFOOD SMOOTHIE :-)

Morning all.. I felt the need to share this amazing smoothie recipe with you guys, as it has just massively lifted my spirits after what can only be described as a heinous workout…. 30 x WALL WALKS!! YES – you read right…. THIRTY!! OOOOOOOOF!

Soooo, what got me through this was thinking about the amazing smoothie I was going to make when I got home, and here it is:

RECIPE:

COCONUT WATER ~ Hydrates the skin; full of antioxidants and cytokinins which have an anti-aging effect on the skin (MARVELLOUS!); loaded with potassium, magnesium + Vit C

COCONUT MILK ~ Is packed with vitamins C, E, B1, B3, B5, and B6 as well as iron, selenium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus; maintains blood sugar levels; contains saturated fats; prevents WRINKLES (YEAH BABY!); Can help to ease Arthritis symptoms.

CACAO POWDER ~ Huge amounts of antioxidants; Increases Serotonin/ Endorphins/ Phenylethylamine / Anandamide (FEEL GOOD + IN LOVE HORMONES!); Contains essential fats + minerals including magnesium, sulfur, calcium, iron, zinc, copper, potassium and manganese.

MACA POWDER ~ Rich in vitamins B12, B1, B2, B12, C and E. It provides plenty of calcium, zinc, iron, magnesium, phosphorous, amino acids + protein; BOOSTS LIBIDO + INCREASES STAMINA 😉 Balances hormones; Increases fertility; Relieves PMT/ menopausal issues; alleviates depression/ anxiety.
